The Marketing Analyst role based in Riyadh will be responsible for supporting the achievement of our combined business and marketing objectives with clients and partners in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and Oman.

This individual will be responsible to support the Director of Marketing for all aspects of work including development and implementation of client and market plans, campaign/program execution, selling in ideas and measurement of engagements. The work conducted will be across Financial Institutions who issue Visa credentials, Merchant Sellers who receive payments for their goods and services from Visa credentials, Fintech partners who enable the growth of the payment ecosystem, and Government stakeholders and entities who strive to advance economic inclusion.

Essential Functions Client Marketing

  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing plans for Visa's activities in conjunction with Account Executives and all key external and internal stakeholders.
  • Participate in sales pitch presentations and develop marketing plans to support new business deals.
  • Utilize data, analytics and insights to measure marketing effectiveness and drive decision making. Conduct analyses and research needed to support annual strategic planning or marketing plans development.
  • Oversee all aspects of marketing plans, including promotions, events, marketing communications, sponsorships partnerships, digital marketing, and sales support.
  • Identify continuous actionable consumer insights and opportunities via consumer understanding programs and tools, trends, and data analysis.
  • Be innovative and curious, always looking for ways to do things better while driving success and sharing it, as well as learning from sharing failures.
  • Have a strong bias for action.
  • Ensure compliance to Visa processes, key controls and brand standards.
  • Be accountable for managing marketing budget and reporting.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
Qualifications

  • 3 or more years in a media agency, digital sales or client-side roles preferred.
  • Proven track record in successfully managing media budgets and optimizing for ROI.
  • Proven understanding of digital platforms and channel strategies.
  • Sales experience and confidence in presenting and advising clients.
  • Strategic and innovative thinker also capable of strong execution.
  • Strong ownership, self management skills, communication, interpersonal and collaboration skills
  • Superior analytic and problem solving skills, with demonstrated intellectual and analytic rigor, attention to detail and ability to structure and analyze financial models.
  • Strong process orientation. Able to create processes from scratch and able to identify and drive continuous improvements
  • A relationship-builder who earns the trust and rapport of partners at multiple levels
  • Team oriented and collaborative, driven and resourceful, innovative and curious, positive and proactive. Always looking for ways to do things better.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of the Saudi market including customer audiences, consumer passion points, social and digital consumption.
  • Fluency in Arabic is preferred, given the region.
