Muíriosa Foundation supports individuals (and their families) with an intellectual disability and/or autism to live self-directed, connected and fulfilling lives. The Department of Health and Children, through the HSE, publicly fund the operational cost of the service. Currently employing over 1,400 staff, Muiríosa Foundation operate in over thirty separate locations in counties Laois, Offaly, Kildare, Westmeath, Meath, Longford, Kilkenny, Tipperary.

THE POSITION

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), the Chief Operating Officer (COO) has overall responsibility for the provision of services and supporting disciplines across the regional areas and supports the CEO in the overall management and governance of the Foundation.

An integral member of the Executive Management Team (EMT), the role involves working closely with the CEO and other EMT colleagues by contributing fully to the development and delivery of the organisations strategy.
