Warehouse Order Picker

Begleys is currently looking for self-motivated professionals who are seeking job experience and a breeding ground for growth. This person will work as a Warehouse Order Picker in our warehouse, a very fast paced and multilingual environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Download customer orders and relay them to production.
  • Organizing products on pallets for delivery.
  • Placing correct labels on the appropriate products.
  • Conscious of the quality of product being packed, alerting the Team Leader with concerns.
  • Generate and complete pallet headers for orders.
  • Ensuring orders are 100% accurate before departure of the product from the warehouse.
  • Completion and reporting of relevant paperwork.
  • Loading and offloading trucks are required.
  • Be able to work on your own initiative.
  • Ensuring the warehouse is kept in a tidy condition.

Quality and Health & Safety Responsibilities:

  • Comply with quality systems and standards, procedures, SOPs to provide safe, legal, and high-quality produce, and to meet our responsibilities to our clients.
  • To be aware of the risks that might be exposed to and comply with safe work practices and company procedures.

Requirements:

  • Secondary level education.
  • Knowledge of warehouse processes, policies, and procedures.
  • PPT & Forklift Certificate is desired.

  • Ability to work on feet and carry objects weighing up to 20kg.
  • Attention to details: The ability to process detailed information effectively and consistently.
  • Dexterity: skill in performing tasks, especially with the hands.
  • Good time management and organizational skills.
  • Cooperation: The ability to work effectively with others to achieve a shared goal - even when the object at stake is of no direct personal interest.
  • Cleanliness: Concerned about personal cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Discipline: The ability to adjust to existing rules, procedures, and policy (Quality Assurance and Health & Safety rules/Procedures).
  • Productivity: Able to deliver high volume of work with efficiency and quality.
