Project Manager
The Project Manager is responsible for managing and executing façade/glazing projects from handover to completion. Ideally, will have a strong knowledge of all aspects of the glazing industry and site safety requirements.
- Project Planning and Scheduling:
- Organise and attend weekly whiteboard meetings to outline weekly project objectives with site installers.
- Create and maintain project programme to ensure project milestones are met to ensure timely completion of the project.
- Liaise with the design and engineering departments to assist with technical specifications.
Project Team/Design Team Communication:
Must have strong client facing and communication skills.
- Computer literate with the ability to read construction drawings.
- Act as the primary point of contact between clients, architects, contractors, and internal teams.
- Ensure that weekly objectives are met and relay progress reports weekly to senior management, main contractor, architect, and clients.
- Develop strong relationships with clients to ensure customer satisfaction in the hope of repeat business
Budget Management:
Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring the project does not run over the cost plan allowed for the project.
- Monitor project expenses, identify cost-saving opportunities, and implement changes as necessary.
- Liaise with the accounts department to track and report project costs and spending.
Quality Control and Safety:
Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure that facade installations meet industry standards and client expectations.
- Liaise with safety officers to develop and enforce safety requirements on construction sites.
- Carry out regular inspections to identify and address potential safety issues proactively.
Risk Management:
Identify potential risks and develop risk mitigation strategies.
- Regularly assess project risks and adjust plans accordingly to minimise negative impacts.
- Work with legal and insurance teams to ensure project compliance and coverage.
Team Leadership:
Lead and motivate project teams, ensuring a collective and positive working environment.
- Ensure that weekly objectives are met and relay progress reports weekly to senior management, main contractor, architect, and clients.
- Provide assistance and support to team members, addressing challenges and promoting professional development.
- Conduct performance reviews and implement improvement plans as needed.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: €80,000.00-€100,000.00 per year
