Project Manager

The Project Manager is responsible for managing and executing façade/glazing projects from handover to completion. Ideally, will have a strong knowledge of all aspects of the glazing industry and site safety requirements.
- Project Planning and Scheduling:

  • Organise and attend weekly whiteboard meetings to outline weekly project objectives with site installers.
  • Create and maintain project programme to ensure project milestones are met to ensure timely completion of the project.
  • Liaise with the design and engineering departments to assist with technical specifications.
  • Project Team/Design Team Communication:

  • Must have strong client facing and communication skills.

  • Computer literate with the ability to read construction drawings.
  • Act as the primary point of contact between clients, architects, contractors, and internal teams.
  • Ensure that weekly objectives are met and relay progress reports weekly to senior management, main contractor, architect, and clients.
  • Develop strong relationships with clients to ensure customer satisfaction in the hope of repeat business
  • Budget Management:

  • Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring the project does not run over the cost plan allowed for the project.

  • Monitor project expenses, identify cost-saving opportunities, and implement changes as necessary.
  • Liaise with the accounts department to track and report project costs and spending.
  • Quality Control and Safety:

  • Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure that facade installations meet industry standards and client expectations.

  • Liaise with safety officers to develop and enforce safety requirements on construction sites.
  • Carry out regular inspections to identify and address potential safety issues proactively.
  • Risk Management:

  • Identify potential risks and develop risk mitigation strategies.

  • Regularly assess project risks and adjust plans accordingly to minimise negative impacts.
  • Work with legal and insurance teams to ensure project compliance and coverage.
  • Team Leadership:

  • Lead and motivate project teams, ensuring a collective and positive working environment.

  • Ensure that weekly objectives are met and relay progress reports weekly to senior management, main contractor, architect, and clients.
  • Provide assistance and support to team members, addressing challenges and promoting professional development.
  • Conduct performance reviews and implement improvement plans as needed.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: €80,000.00-€100,000.00 per year

  • Monday to Friday

Experience:

  • Facade: 2 years (preferred)
  • Construction: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Safepass Card (preferred)
  • Driving Licence (required)

Work authorisation:

  • Ireland (required)
