About the role:
The QA Assistant Officer will be instrumental in supporting the quality control processes for raw materials, ensuring adherence to standards and regulatory requirements at the Bangpoo Plant in Thailand. This 6-month contract role contributes to maintaining high standards and compliance in the production process.
Key responsibilities:
- Assist in conducting daily tests on raw materials and finished goods, including chemical, appearance, and sensory evaluations. This involves sample preparation, recording results, and appropriate disposal of samples.
- Coordinate the submission of finished goods and raw material samples for microbial laboratory testing.
- Conduct sampling of raw materials at external warehouses to ensure quality standards are met.
- Handle and maintain retention samples for both raw materials and finished goods, ensuring proper storage and organization.
- Assist in documentation and record-keeping tasks, including scanning Certificates of Analysis (COAs) and other relevant documents.
- Support the implementation and maintenance of good laboratory practices (GLP), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the laboratory and workspace.
- Provide support for vendor/customer requests or investigations related to quality assurance.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the QA Manage
Qualifications and skills:
- Minimum education: High Vocational diploma or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of experience in the food industry or quality control.
- Knowledge of quality control principles and laboratory testing techniques.
- Computer skills are preferred.
- Proficiency in English, with the ability to read and write effectively.
