Manufacturing planner

The job

The ManufacturingPlanner will ensure product delivery in line with customer requirements. By planning the workload and proposing manufacturing assumptions, he/she will help decide on the best manufacturing strategy. He/she will ensure that quality KPIs are met and continuously improved to support the company's objectives.

The Manufacturing Planner must have strong communication and negotiation skills with internal and external stakeholders. The ability to communicate detailed, technical and forecasting information is mandatory to ensure the team meets key performance indicators (KPIs), internal compliance procedures and overall customer satisfaction.

The Manufacturing Planer will often travel (all AAF sites, customer sites, supplier sites etc).

**Tasks:

  • Analyze the Funnel and convert into factory loading plan.
  • Define the different factory loading at short and long term.
  • Identify, classify, and plan the needs of strategic supplies and (filter element, material, transport, fabrication)
  • Convert the SIOP in sub assembly and parts short term and long-term forecast.
  • Follow up the factory’s capacities through Celoxis, check the important milestones regularly with Business support engineer, project management and factory’s managers.
  • Define standard schedule by product by factory including the supply chain.
  • Define the factory capacity and its efficiency.
  • Identify the loading modulation opportunities.
  • Create a visual follow up of the order portfolio and clearly categorize the project (standard, nearly standard, project )
  • Follow up industrialization process and FPQ of product.
  • Define the risk and opportunities linked to products and manufacturing locations.

The **ideal profile:
He or she has/knows:

  • At least 2/3 years' higher education in supply chain or logistics.
  • Previous project management training.
  • An experience as a manufacturing planner
  • Background in a manufacturing or engineering company.
  • Background in international sourcing, cost reduction, supplier improvement, lean.
  • Background in of planning software, ideally Celoxis and MSPN
  • Knowledge of MRP/ERP systems
  • How to work on several projects at the same time
  • How to use a wide range of software
