QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in physical therapy.
- Valid state physical therapy license with board certification through the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties (ABPTS) as either an Orthopedic or Sports Clinical Specialist (O/SCS.)
- Have experience working with elite athletes within the military Special Operations Forces (SOF) community, National Collegiate Athletic Association, or professional sports.
- Have a demonstrated history of performing manual therapy and Graston technique soft tissue mobilization.
- Be physically proficient to demonstrate all prescribed exercises and techniques.
- USA Citizen with SOFA Status.
JOB DESCRIPTION INCLUDES, BUT IS NOT LIMITED TO
- Provide examinations, evaluations, diagnosis/assessment, treatment, evidence-based intervention and medical management, consultation, counseling, education, prevention, and follow-up services.
- Provide input for the development and utilization of relevant data collection and strategies.
- Conduct the collection and reporting of workload data as requested - Assist with the preparation of short and long-term fiscal plans.
DOCPER/SOFA/Logistical Support Status
This position is not eligible for support under NATO Status of Forces Agreement (SOFA) supplemental agreement articles 72 or 73.
