Description
Required skills and qualifications
- Three or more years of experience in data science of proven experience
- Advanced experience in pattern recognition and predictive modeling
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, research-oriented group that has several concurrent projects.
- Experience in data mining
- Understanding of machine-learning and operations research
- Knowledge of R, SQL and Python; familiarity with Scala, Java.
- Experience using business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI) and data frameworks (e.g. Azure, AWS, Hadoop, RDMS)
- Analytical mind and business acumen
- Strong math skills (e.g. statistics, algebra)
- Problem-solving aptitude
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field; graduate degree in Data Science or other quantitative field is preferred
- Able to multitask and manage projects with min supervision
- Professional certification
Job Type: Contract
Salary: RM3,597.68 - RM8,500.00 per month
