Macleans College is a leading co-educational state school with a reputation for high standards. We are seeking a Health and Safety Co-ordinator with the initiative and organisational skills to help us provide a safe environment for staff and students.
To be successful in this role you need:
- Strong organisational skills and an ability to work systematically and logically
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Initiative and the ability to work independently
- Enjoy building strong internal and external working relationships
- A working knowledge, or understanding of the Health and Safety at Work Act (2015)
Salary:
Market rate - depending on experience and qualifications. This role has the potential to become full-time.
Key responsibilities include:
- Reviewing and developing Health and Safety systems and procedures
- Risk assessment and mitigation across the campus
- Managing all documentation and record-keeping related to Health and Safety
- Promoting a positive Health and Safety culture
- Identifying staff training needs
