Description
The Fast Food Shop Managers will play a pivotal role in upholding health and safety standards, managing inventory, and ensuring financial success within budget constraints. This is a full-time position, requiring a minimum commitment of
30 hours per week.
As a Shop Manager, your daily tasks will encompass:
Staff Management:
- Supervise and lead kitchen and service staff, ensuring they adhere to company policies and standards.
- Select, train, and evaluate employees for both front-of-house and back-of-house roles.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
Purchasing:
- Arrange the purchasing of goods while staying within budgetary constraints.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels to prevent shortages or excesses.
Financial Management:
- Maintain accurate records of stock levels, sales, and financial transactions.
- Analyze financial reports and make informed decisions.
- Implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality.
Facility Maintenance:
- Ensure that facilities comply with health regulations and maintain a clean, functional, and appealing appearance.
- Oversee regular maintenance tasks to keep all equipment and facilities in optimal condition.
- Address any issues related to cleanliness or functionality promptly.
Customer Satisfaction:
- Interact with customers to assess their satisfaction with meals and service.
- Address customer concerns or complaints promptly and professionally.
- Implement improvements based on customer feedback to enhance overall experience.
Training and Supervision:
- Train and supervise waiting and kitchen staff to ensure consistent service quality.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
- Identify training needs and implement ongoing development programs.
Guest Interaction:
- Greet guests and assist in taking orders as needed.
- Foster a welcoming and friendly atmosphere for customers.
- At least one year work experience in a similar fast-food business
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Demonstrated reliability and a strong sense of responsibility
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays
- Capability to handle urgent tasks promptly
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated honesty, trustworthiness, and a well-groomed appearance
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations
- Maintaining a drug and alcohol-free status
