Description
We have a clean and modern commercial kitchen with a gorgeous rural view right in the centre of our building, so you will be at the heart of the action. In this role you will be responsible for the day to day operations of the on-site kitchen including cost control, menu planning, ordering supplies and serving morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea for up to 40 hungry 0-5 year olds. This is a Monday to Friday position for approximately 30 hours.
Qualifications:
To succeed in this role you will have:
- A passion for food and a friendly positive approach
- Previous experience working as a Cook or Chef
- Experience developing nutritionally balanced menus
- An understanding of allergies and special diets
- Demonstrated experience in maintaining a high standard of food and kitchen hygiene
