Dominator Christchurch manufactures high-quality garage doors, gates, and automation solutions for residential and commercial customers all over New Zealand.
An opportunity has arisen within the Christchurch operation for someone who enjoys working with timber to join an established team in the production of beautiful architectural cedar garage doors.
The role reports to the Operations Supervisor and plays an integral role in the production of bespoke cedar garage doors to the wider New Zealand dealer network.

What will you do?
- Build cedar doors to plan and specifications
- Oversee work-in-progress, inventory, and tools
- Provide technical support to team members and the wider sales team
- Work with team members in the interpretation and execution of architectural plans
- Work closely with stakeholders regarding product specifications, quality assurance, and delivery, including homeowners, architects, builders, and insurance company representatives
What do you need?
- Experience working with timber
- Demonstrated ability in the use of power and woodworking tools
- Ability to read plans and dimensions
- A keen eye for detail is paramount
- Timber processing & timber selection experience highly beneficial
- Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills
- Technical capability and IT savvy
- An attention to detail suitable for a bespoke high-end product
- Clean Class 1 full Driver's Licence (forklift licence desirable)
Salary: $22.70 - $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
