Description
Responsibilities:
- Prepare, draft, and review legal contracts, agreements, and documents in both Thai and English languages, providing insightful recommendations to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.
- Develop, initiate, maintain, and revise internal legal documents, policies, and procedures to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Provide legal advice and support to internal stakeholders on various legal matters, including corporate governance, compliance, intellectual property, and employment law.
- Conduct legal research and analysis to stay abreast of changes in laws and regulations relevant to the IT Services and IT Consulting industry, and advise management accordingly.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, and human resources, to address legal issues and facilitate business transactions.
- Manage external legal counsel and consultants as necessary, ensuring effective and cost-efficient legal representation for the company.
- Assist in the negotiation and settlement of disputes, litigation, and other legal proceedings as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Law; Master's degree preferred.
- Admitted to practice law in Thailand.
- Minimum of 7 years of combined experience in a reputable law firm and in-house counsel role, with a focus on general commercial laws and contracts.
- Extensive experience drafting and negotiating complex legal agreements and documents.
- Strong understanding of Thai legal system and regulatory framework, with knowledge of international legal standards and best practices.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
- Native Thai speaker with good English proficiency
