- * General Accounting*
- Being responsible for all day-to-day GL bookings and month-end closing in the financial system. Ensure accurate and timely booking and conduct month-end closing to ensure all income and expenses are booked properly. Ensuring all conforms to IFRS accounting standards.
- Executing monthly closing of all modules (AP, AR, Fixed assets, etc.) with the business partners to determine what, if any, activities occurred during the month that requires manual journal entries.
- Ensuring smooth and timely completion of month-end activities and accounting closing procedures.
- Preparing/Reviewing account reconciliations.
- Supporting team and other users to ensure all transactions are recorded on proper GL accounts with correct cost centres.
- Managing company Chart of accounts and Master Data (GL Accounts, Cost Centers and Profit Center).
- Ensuring internal controls are in place and complied and compliance with global and local policies and SOPs.
- Reporting
- Ensuring monthly reporting in SAP is done in time and properly and ensuring that all necessary disclosure templates are completed in time and completely, conform to Local GAAP and IFRS standards.
- Ensuring managerial reports are prepared and analyzed.
- Supporting Budget/LE processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
- Has a minimum of 7 years of working experience in Accounting.
- Experience in the SAP program is a plus.
- Knowledge of IFRS accounting standards and tax laws.
- Has a Good command of English.
