Primary purpose of job
Focal point, responsible, accountable for the day-to-day functioning of the Commissioning engineering, pre-commissioning,
and commissioning of the Maydan Mahzam (MM) Redevelopment Project to ensure that the project is commissioned and
tested in accordance with approved Scope of Work, approved drawings, engineering design and safety, environment and
QatarEnergy standards & specifications.
Act as an interface between EPIC contractor and asset holder representative to Manager all aspects of commissioning
from engineering till hand-over. Provide guidance to commissioning staff and Contractor to ensure that all commissioning
activities from pre-FEED till handover are executed in accordance with approved method statements complying with project
schedule, quality and HSE requirements
Experience & Skills
of multi-discipline offshore projects.

Computer literate. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent command of English Language (oral and written)
Excellent knowledge of industry engineering standards, quality control, safety and environmental awareness.
Excellent ability to interpret and review method statements, inspection and test plans, construction schedules and
drawings.
Ability to highlight potential bottlenecks/problems and ability to suggest solutions.
Ability to supervise a multi-national and multi-cultural contractor workforce.
Education
B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering discipline from a recognized University (or) Petroleum Engineering discipline or equivalent
plus relevant courses in Safety, Quality Control and Construction.
