About Us:
We are offering positions for a cafe in a vibrant child science center.
As a Barista/Server you will play a vital role in ensuring that the guests receive outstanding service and enjoy their time. You will provide attentive service to guests.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages
- Operate coffee machines, and other equipment
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, guide them through the menu, and take orders accurately and efficiently
- Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring quality and presentation meet our standards
- Anticipate guests' needs and respond promptly to requests or concerns
- Maintain cleanliness and organization, including workstations, dining areas, and service areas
- Process transactions accurately using our point-of-sale system and handle cash and card transactions responsibly
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service and a positive dining experience for guests
Requirements:
- Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and multitask with ease
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
