Job Title: Translator-Arabic to English-English to Arabic
Location: Doha, Qatar
Contract Type: Temporary (6 Months)
Experience: Minimum 5 years
Responsibilities:
- Interpret verbal communications and conversations during meetings, conferences, and other events as needed.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure effective communication and understanding across languages.
- Review and edit translated materials to ensure clarity, accuracy, and adherence to organizational standards and guidelines.
- Maintain confidentiality and sensitivity to cultural nuances and differences in language usage.
- Research and stay updated on industry-specific terminology and language trends to enhance translation quality and effectiveness.
- Manage translation projects and deadlines effectively, prioritizing tasks and assignments as necessary.
- Provide linguistic support and guidance to colleagues and stakeholders on language-related matters.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of bilingual glossaries, style guides, and other reference materials.
- Uphold professional standards of conduct and ethics in all translation and interpretation activities.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Arabic to English-English to Arabic Translator, preferably in a professional setting.
- Proficiency in both Arabic and English languages, with strong written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Translation, Linguistics, or related field.
- Demonstrated expertise in translation techniques, terminology management, and language localization.
- Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and proofreading skills.
- Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Familiarity with translation software and tools is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
Job Types: Temporary, Contract
Salary: QAR3,000.00 - QAR4,000.00 per month
