Project Manager

Job purpose:
Meets change objectives and executes projects, from the initiation phase up to and including transfer to the existing organisation within the agreed budget and timetable in accordance with the set quality standards; coordinates the projects and is accountable in reporting to the PMO Manager regarding all Project KPIs (including Risks & Issues) in a proactive way.

Job description:
Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Organize regular project team meetings and proactively reserve support/resources among the concerned parties, so as to ensure the completion of the projects.
  • Work according to regional and departmental PMO procedures and guidelines, identify points for improvement and make proposals for improvements, in order to optimize the business process.
  • Make an independent contribution to ensuring content
  • and discipline-oriented quality so as to ensure reuse of project management knowledge, skills, instruments and training.
  • Act as a consultant coach and advisor for employees within the assigned aspect area and actively intervene when necessary, in order to better facilitate the project’s progress.
  • Design and propose the best possible project plan given constraints of time, resources and cost for the assigned projects, in order to fully ensure the covering of all aspects (People, Organization, Processes, Technology and Facilities).
  • Ensure that project results are consistently delivered against stated project objectives, in order to take corrective actions when the deadlines are not met.
  • Propose on solutions given to problems and sets priorities, in order to ensure that projects scope are met according to time, budget limits and quality standards.
  • Report approaches, progress, quality and budgets to the PMO Manager and to the project owner, in order to demonstrate the overall progress of the project.
  • Identify the potential risks of the project and try to control them at the early stages and escalate them to the PMO Manager proactively, in order to ensure the completion of the project.

Desired Skills/Experience:
You need to have:

  • University (Bachelor's) Degree in IT/ Finance/Business.
  • Master’s Degree in IT/Business would be considered an asset.
  • Excellent Knowledge of MS Office.
  • Excellent oral and written knowledge of English language.
  • Professional Certification (Prince2 practitioner) or Level comparable to IPMA certification at level C (Project Management professional) or any Certification in Agile Methodology (e.g. PSM, SAFe, PMI - ACP).
  • 3-5 Years of experience as Project Manager in IT / Finance / Investment business.
