Eram Talent is hiring a highly experienced Lead Sub-Contracts Engineer to join our team in the UAE. As the Lead Sub-Contracts Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all subcontracting activities and ensuring compliance with contractual terms and conditions.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise a team of Sub-Contracts Engineers
- Review and evaluate subcontractor proposals and bids
- Negotiate and finalize subcontract agreements
- Ensure compliance with legal and contractual obligations
- Monitor subcontractor performance and resolve any issues or disputes
- Manage the subcontracting process, including scope of work, payments, and documentation
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure successful subcontracting outcomes
- Ensure that subcontracting activities align with project timelines and budgets
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in subcontract management or a similar role
- Strong knowledge of contracting and procurement practices
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills
- Experience in the oil and energy industry is required
- Proficiency in contract management software and MS Office Suite
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
