Te kōwhiringa | The Opportunity
As our Contract Manager for our Transport & Infrastructure Auckland Construction team, you will be responsible for forward planning, programming, optimising resource, and delivering a high-quality standard of work across the Auckland region. Your day to day will include but not be limited to:

  • Producing project methodology, budgets, and programmes
  • Lead tenders submissions and quotations
  • Championing excellence, health, and safety
  • Directing and leading site engineers, foreman and their teams as well as sub-contractors
  • Developing strong business relationships and commercial outcomes exceeding target results

This is a Full-Time, Permanent opportunity based from our Penrose, Auckland depot. Occasional travel across the wider Auckland region will be required.

With substantial project and people management experience, and a firm foundation of work in Civil Construction, you will have the knowledge and confidence to tackle this role.
We’d also value;

  • A tertiary qualification or equivalent in engineering or business management.
  • Proven management experience with responsibility and accountability for staff, plant and return on investment
  • Proven track record in identifying, researching and developing marketplace opportunities.
  • Demonstrated experience developing a culture that supports SQE management, encouraging and rewarding excellence
  • The ability to create and deliver a strong customer focus culture
  • Clear demonstration of leadership behaviours that empower others to make decisions, deliver and succeed
