We are searching for a senior qualified lawyer, preferably from an English, American, French law or equivalent jurisdiction. The role will be for an International Legal & Regulatory Expert of a major infrastructure service provider in their Riyadh office.

Reporting to the GM of International Legal & Regulatory, you will draft and implement robust international legal agreements and support international legal affairs and operations to ensure the company's alignment with international regulations.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in law, international law, or equivalent.
  • 10 years of experience (ideally in an international context outside KSA)
  • Fluent in bilingual Arabic and English, with strong written and oral communication skills;
  • Draft Contracts and other related legal documents in English.

Project management experience:

  • Conduct market research and regulatory analysis on new markets that fit with the expansion strategy
  • Monitor regulatory developments across all existing and target international markets
  • Support the cascading of relevant regulations into relevant internal processes, guidelines and metrics and formulate a database to be a reference for all regulatory frameworks and decisions.
  • Provide guidance and support to ensure compliance with international government and supra-national regulations.
  • Work with the Mergers & Acquisitions department on drafting and negotiating international investment, M&A and other commercial transaction documentation (SPA, MLA, etc.)
  • Work with the Mergers & Acquisitions department and Finance department on structuring the funding (debt and equity) of international investment, M&A and other commercial.
  • Support the closing process of signed transactions
  • Support the documentation of governance processes for the International Sector in accordance with the company's governance framework (Investment Committees, Board Meetings, etc.)
  • Support the Legal function of international Operating Subsidiaries
  • Support the legal administration of International Holding Entities (IHEs)
  • Perform other responsibilities and tasks as directed by the Line Manager to meet Section/Department objectives.

Salary around SAR35K plus housing and transportation allowances.
