Summary:
The Analytics Technology Lead is responsible for managing the lifecycle of globally used analytics

platforms. This includes leading platform implementations & projects, guidelines & best practices,

managing vendors involved and collaborating with various stakeholders such as security, technology

strategy, infrastructure, support and respective domains upon use cases.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Ownership of the data platforms: Denodo, Snowflake and SAS DI.
  • Manage the lifecycle of the platforms and their integrations with other systems, the

maintainability and the scalability of the solutions.

  • Be responsible for defining the platform strategy, technology roadmap and evolutions.
  • Contribution in shaping the overall landscape, architecture, solution designs and

governance evolutions within the data & analytics space.
- Defines and ensures the applicability of governance, technical standards and best

practices for development teams on the platforms.
- Lead the platform implementations / projects and manage the stakeholders and

vendors involved by showing advanced project management skills and ability to deliver

technology projects in a matrix organization, in collaboration with various departments

involved (transversals and verticals).

  • Able to execute proof of concepts and understand hands-on developments.
  • Manage interests and expectations of various business and IT stakeholders.
  • Able to shape and defend business cases for the initiatives he/she will drive or support

with solutions and estimates.
- Review / validate / defend functional requirements, architecture specifications and

solutions designs.
- Facilitate, review, coordinate and prioritize platform changes and enhancements.

Competencies:

  • Must have technology knowledge: Snowflake or similar, Denodo or similar, SAS DI or

similar.

  • Azure eco system understanding is considered a plus.
  • Knowledge of end-to-end architecture concepts in the data & analytics space.
  • Experience with business intelligence tools such as Qlik Sense or Power BI.
  • Strong Data Provisioning skills (ETL, ELT).
  • Logical Data Modeling experience.
  • Strong knowledge of relational database structures, theories, principles and practices.
  • Experience with Big Data and cloud technologies.
  • Strong Knowledge of analytics governance concepts.
  • Business and technical competency in analytics solutions.
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving, with strong ability to quickly learn and

comprehend business processes and problems in order to effectively shape technical

solutions.
