CIP Submissions Sales Associate - Cork

Working with a leading insurance broker, risk advisors, pensions, and actuarial consultancies. This a support role, working with the Account Executive team in Cork, Limerick, and Galway. You'll work with the broking team on new business opportunities. This role is critical to their growth strategy.
About your job:
Responsible for placement, broking of new business opportunities within the insurance market. As part of the team, you will work on the following elements:

  • Preparing market submissions for commercial prospect opportunities in conjunction with the Account Executive
  • Engage with the identified markets to secure appropriate solutions.
  • Perform the post binding placement role. This involves checking and issuing policy documentation to the client on time.
  • Strengthen market relationships with the Account Executive team in Ireland.
  • Ensure account planning is in place for all prospects and complete key actions on time.
  • Achieve best client service in an efficient and friendly manner.
  • Development and servicing of the production pipeline supported by Microsoft Dynamics software. This with the aim to covering existing clients and new business opportunities.
  • Involvement in sector research, utilising the research tools and insights available to you.
  • Follow company procedures for new business placement.

What Skills You Need

Certified Insurance Practitioner (CIP) qualified; with previous experience working for an insurer or broker.

  • Ability to develop and maintain key market relationships
  • Ability to move through a sales process and successfully secure the business working with the Account Execs
  • Comprehensive end-to-end understanding of the new business sales process
  • Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in sing CRM software and sales tools.

Salary 45-55k DOE + excellent benefits package

25 days AL, Bonus, Pension and Healthcare, Life Assurance, Hybrid 2 days p/w
