Your mission:
Lamda Laboratories (an Adragos Company) is an innovative contract development company based in Europe. Our primary focus is to provide high-quality research for the development of generic and generic-plus products. Lamda Laboratories is seeking to hire a financial accountant for the Finance Department.
Key Responsibilities:
Statutory Accounting**
- Responsible for the timely and accurate recording of purchase invoices and the issuance of revenue invoices
- Reconciles all subledgers with General Ledger and maintains appropriate evidence
- Runs all banking procedures in accordance with internal policy
- Maintains the ERPs chart of accounts in accordance with Group policy and local GAAP (ΕΛΠ)
- Assists the Chief Accountant in the preparation of the annual financial statements
- Coordinates with the Procurement department for the Half-year and Year-end inventory reconciliation
- Ensures proper filing of books and records for easy retrieval in case of audits

- Ensures accounting entries are compliant with the tax legislation
- Assists in the preparation of all tax returns for review from the Chief Accountant and in the drafting of tax forecasts
- Submits statistical and other statutory reports to the relevant public authorities
- Follows, promotes, and enforces relevant SOPs, Job Aids, Company policies and Internal Control procedures
- Ensures MyData is up-to-date and reconciled with the ERP accounts

- Agent of digital transformation - identifies automation opportunities and takes initiative to implement them
- Assists in Group wide digital transformation projects
- Provides accounting support to commercial and supply divisions
Your profile:
- Accounting and Tax:
- A’ signatory right or in the process of getting it in the future
- Prior tax knowledge that will improve the quality of day-to-day tax tasks will be a asset
Experience operating in a similar role is essential- Digital Skills:
Proficiency in handling Microsoft Dynamics NAV is required
- Good knowledge of MS Excel will be an asset
Focus on automation and digital transformation- Education Requirements:
University Degree in Accounting/Finance
- At least 5 years of experience in a relevant role
- Post education in the area of taxation is a plus but not a prerequisite
- Excellent command in written/spoken English
