The company is a shared services center handling the business of a large fortune. They are responsible for the accounting, tax and corporate aspects of 17 entities. The team in Luxembourg is composed of 5 professionals.
In your role of Senior Accountant, your responsibilities are:
Managing the daily accounting operations of the entities (mainly holding)
Independent preparation of annual accounts according to Luxgaap
Preparing required financial statements on a regular basis
Being a major point of contact for shareholders to deal with accounting and reporting matters
Preparing VAT and tax returns
Preparing and participating in shareholders'meetings
Ensure adherence to accounting regulations and internal controls, as well as support external audits
Collaborate with auditors and provide necessary documentation and explanations during audits
Identify opportunities to enhance financial processes, streamline workflows, and implement best practices
For this position, your qualifications will be:
You hold a bachelor's or master's degree in accounting, Finance or Economics or similar qualification
You have at least 4 years of relevant experience in the fields of accounting or finance
You have strong knowledge of national accounting principles and financial reporting practices
You have excellent skills in Excel
You are fluent in French and have good communication skills in English
You are a good team player, positive with a pro-active attitude
You can work autonomously
You have the ability to provide efficient, timely and courteous service to our shareholders
You always take a solution oriented approach to resolving problems
