This is a dual permanent full-time role with the following hours of work:
Shopfloor
- Wednesday and Thursday: 10:30am to 6pm
Trading 2IC
- Friday: 9am to 6pm
- Saturday: 12:30pm to 8:30pm
Job Description:
Are you ready to take your first step into leadership? We currently have an exciting opportunity to join the team in out Kaitaia store as our Trading 2IC!
As the Trading 2IC, you will assist the Trading Manager with everything Shopfloor related, including The Entertainment department, Price Integrity functions & Apparel department. You will demonstrate great leadership of the teams in these areas.
Your role will also encourage you to actively promote a safe environment, and ensure all legal trading requirements are met. You will ensure planograms are maintained and promotions are set up correctly.
Qualifications:
Ideally you will have
- Proven retail experience
- Strong leadership qualities
- Commitment to the Customer and the in-store experience
- Excellent Communication Skills
- Can relate well with others
- Can use a computer
- Willing to learn new things
- Fast learner
- Resiliant to changes
