Long Line Vessel - Based At Mangonui - Northland
We require a number of experienced fisheries deckhands to work on our modern bottom longline vessel.
The vessel's home port is in at Mangonui - Northland
We are seeking full-time crew for a 12-month period.
Trips are usually for 7-9 days.
Normal fisheries deckhand duties for a bottom longline vessel.including the deployment and retrieval of the lines, handling, storing, and unloading of the catch, and cleaning duties.
Experience of at least six months experience as a fisheries deckhand is essential.
If you have NZ Deckhand Qualifications or equivalent that would be a definite advantage.

Assessment Process - All Positions
Part of our assessment process will involve limited police checks for all applicants.
There is also a pre-employment and ongoing drug testing program for all of these positions.
Applicants will need to agree with their previous employers being contacted in the vetting process and a limited police check clearance.
Remuneration based on experience and qualifications. We are happy to discuss "catch share" contract options.
