Description
We are looking for a Store Manager for a Liquor Store in the New Plymouth, Whanganui. As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing its daily operations, ensuring that it runs smoothly and efficiently. You will be tasked with managing and training staff, creating and implementing effective sales strategies, managing inventory and stock levels, and providing exceptional customer service. Other responsibilities will be as per below:
- Provide exceptional customer service and create authentic experiences in the store.
- Develop and implement operational procedures including customer service objectives, operating plans, advertising strategies, purchase plans, store improvements and layouts.
- Determine and maintain appropriate levels of inventory and manage the inventory process.
- Maintain good client relations; resolve any complaints from customers, suppliers and employees.
- Oversee and direct the maintenance of data needed for accurate accounting and other operating records.
- Manage records and balances daily receipts and disbursements.
- Check invoices to catch and correct any errors and submit daily cash and sales records.
- Assure that the cash register balances at the end of each shift and each month.
- Developing effective marketing strategies to ensure business profitability.
- Ensuring compliance with the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012 and occupational health and safety regulations.
You will be required to work for a minimum of 30 hours per week.
Other Requirements:
- Having a Manager Certificate is highly preferred.
- Relevant knowledge is highly preferred
- Physically fit and healthy
- Available to work on weekends and work on Public Holidays.

Salary: $28.00 - $31.00 per hour
