Food & Beverage Attendant
who can service with smile and warmth delivering a high standard of customer service at Hilton Auckland's iconic bar
- Bellini Bar:

• Sip on fresh barista coffee and take in Bellini's waterfront views by day. As the lights dim, enjoy a cocktail or a glass of champagne sitting seaside by night!

What will I be doing?

This role involves:

• You to elevate the guest experience by delivering our signature beverages with high-energy and efficient table service of food and beverage
• Creating drinks and preparing and serving a wide range of non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, pouring drinks, and ensuring that are served promptly
• Providing exceptional customer service by being friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the food & drinks menu's and readiness to explain and recommend food & beverage contents
• Taking guest orders and cash handling
• Managing a variety of customer types, inquiries, and complaints
• Crafting exquisite high teas

What are we looking for?

• Experience as Bar Staff, Barista or Bartender
• Friendly, positive, energetic and commitment
• Fulltime and flexible availability and reliable - able to do at least 3 - 4 closing shifts per week and during weekends and public holidays
• Knowledge of beverages including coffee, cocktail, spirit, and wine highly desirable
• Experience in POS ordering systems and cash handling
• A good understanding of wine, its service and recommendations to guests
• Good English communication skills

It will be beneficial if you maintain the following:

• Completed a barista course
• Previous work experience within a 5-star hotel environment
• In possession of WSET
• In possession of LCQ or managers certificate
