Our client is looking for an experienced Shift Supervisor to join their wonderful team base in Auckland.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensuring proper documentation is completed and accurate stock counts are performed to ensure accuracy and accountability of company assets.
- To support the Operations Supervisor and Operations Manager in the planning, Leadership, supervision and control of const effective Operational activities at the Loscam Fresh NZ depot site to accomplish business objective.
- Complete and record daily stock takes accurately. Check if there are any discrepancies between actual and system stock.
- Managing customer orders and liaising with customers communicating pick up times and quantities.
- Data processing issues, dehires and relocations out and into the site as per SOP
- Overview on washing machine and coordinating repairs as and when required.
- Support the depot operational functions, ensuring a health and safe working environment and cost-effective operational activities.
- Operate a Forklift to ensure product movements in a safe manner and in accordance with the Safe Operation Procedure.
- Ensure all the operations are carried out effectively and safely in accordance with business OH&S policies and procedures.
- Instruct and observe new and existing employees amd manage the team.
Support the management of the crate operation and unit cost actuals ensuring the budgeted wash cost unit is achieved. Taks includes:
Purchase order receipting.
- Support the accurate completion of stock take.
- Report on all variances, relative to the was unit costs.
- Crate washing and crate repairing.
POSITION REQUIREMENT:
- Possess a proven hands-on sill set within an Operational/ Manufacturing environment.
- Be committed, self-motivated individual with proven leadership skills.
- Have high degree of computer literacy.
- Should have Forklift license and full driver's license.
- Willingness to learn new policies and procedures.
- Mature and highly professional
- Experienced in similar roles.
