As a Digital Merchandising Officer, you will play a key role in maximising the customer experience across all international sites, as well as delivering against key KPIs and sales targets for our UK site, where we have the Primark Click and Collect pilot running.

What You’ll Do:
In your role, you’ll collaborate with different people across a range of skill sets. Here’s a flavour of your day-to-day:

  • Contribute towards the creation of strategies in key commercial areas of the site including search, cross-sell & upsell opportunities and category pages designed to drive toward key click-and collect and non-transactional site goals
  • Analysing data to build hypotheses around which products to feature to drive key goal conversions
  • Use tools and systems to deliver smooth and friction-free customer journeys to optimise sales and engagement
  • Build expertise amongst the team in our search and merchandising platforms & analytics tools, ensuring the Digital Merchandising Assistants have the tools to be able to perform their daily & weekly analysis and category testing requirements.
  • Work with digital analytics teams and testing teams to develop performance-improving hypotheses and tests to drive conversion rate

What You’ll Bring

  • 3-5 years of work experience in a web trading or digital merchandising team in a fashion or lifestyle retail business
  • Experience managing an e-commerce site (or a category within an e-commerce site) against sales targets
  • Experience using Search & Merch Tools, Platforms and Content Management Systems to deliver an engaging and commercial customer experience that aligns with the overall Company strategy
  • Excellent attention to detail, and the ability to ensure products, brand image and messaging are consistent across multiple touchpoints
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment; able to prioritise workload and find solutions to problems which may arise
  • Ability to manage a small team, with a focus on developing skillsets and culture within that team
  • IT proficiency, including advanced Excel skills & proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • A great communicator along with excellent interpersonal and people skills. Someone who can contribute effectively as part of a team and can facilitate smooth interactions between themselves and senior stakeholders.
