As a Financial Assistant - R2R Cash Accounting, you will play a pivotal role in the timely and accurate processing of financial control, accounting, and reporting activities.
Reporting to the Team Lead Cash Accounting - Global Record to Report, you will be an essential member of our Finance Hub based in Basingstoke. Your primary responsibilities will include upholding and enforcing financial controls, collaborating with key stakeholders, and ensuring the completion of tasks in line with accounting policies.
Step into the financial world of Merlin and take the reins in fostering robust relationships with both internal and external business stakeholders. As the guardian of financial controls and systems, you'll ensure tasks are completed promptly, following accounting policies to the tee. Together with our Finance hub managers, you'll dive into balance sheet accounts, orchestrating thorough reviews and leaving your mark on our magical financial landscape!
Qualifications & Experience:
- Degree or finance experience needed
- Master of bank reconciliation
- Familiar with month-end close
- Analytical wizard with proactive problem-solving
- Experience in process improvements
- Able to forge strong bonds with key stakeholders
- Thrive in a flexible environment
- Excel expertise essential
- Excellent communication skills for seamless coordination
- Meticulous attention to detail and a proactive mindset
- Collaborate with divisional finance for swift issue resolution
