The Compliance and Operational Risk Team at AustralianSuper is a first line business risk and control function, supporting the Investments and Fund Services Groups.

Reporting to our Head of Fund Services, International, you will manage a team of 4-5 Colleagues, expanding the size and coverage of the department over time. The department is a critical enabler of the Fund’s international platform.

The role will focus across Business and Operational line-one risk, as well as Investment Compliance, including Balance Sheet, Treasury, Market and Liquidity Risk across Liquidity & Implementation, International Equities and Fixed Income.
- This role is based on site at London King’s Cross Estate, one of the core assets of the Fund’s global portfolio.What you’ll need

As a new seat within the Fund, you will need:

  • Significant leadership experience, managing growing teams, and other people leaders.
  • Experience working with Blackrock Aladdin, Bloomberg, and other third-party data providers.
  • A very broad compliance and risk background, working across a range of business ops and investment compliance teams.
  • Experience within asset management and financial services
  • International compliance exposure across global jurisdictions
  • Hands-on approach

Additionally, stakeholder management exposure is key, working with C-suite, Group Executives and Board level officials within the Fund.
