Description
Prepares designs all electrical Systems, drawings, BOQ, contract documents feasibility reports, financial appraisals, scheme approval, estimates, etc. Efficiently.
- Represents client in obtaining bids and awarding construction contracts and verifies that they follow current codes and standards
- Administers construction contracts and conducts periodic on-site observation of work during construction to monitor compliance with plans
- Prepares operating and maintenance manuals, studies, and reports
- Directs activities of junior Electrical /Light Current Engineers engaged in preparing drawings and specification documents and provides necessary support and/or advice
- Liaises as directed with consulting engineers, architects and other discipline and/or contractors on all matters necessary for the implementation of the work program of the project.
- May use computer-assisted design software and equipment to prepare project designs and plans
Job Requirements:
- A Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering
- +8 years of related experience
- Arabic and English languages fluency.
- Ability to: plan, organize, assign, prioritize, and delegate work of self and others
- Ability to design and prepare plans, specifications, and cost estimates for building projects
- Ability to communicate orally and in writing; coordinate work of self and others to meet milestones and deadlines; establish and maintain effective relationships with subordinates, colleagues, customer departments and contractors.
