What You'll Do:
- Enhance Visitor Experiences: Engage with visitors, providing exceptional support and suggestions that elevate their holiday in Ireland.
- Information Specialist: Offer prompt, courteous responses to enquiries, craft personalized itineraries, and ensure a steady supply of up-to-date tourist materials.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with tourism professionals, contributing to local strategies and attending regular meetings to share insights.
- Operational Excellence: Support the Senior Travel Advisor and Visitor Engagement Officer, maintain accurate tourist information
What You'll Bring:
- Experience: At least 6 months in a customer-facing role with a track record of engaging communication.
- Skills: High proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Teams), with excellent written and oral communication abilities.
- Knowledge: A comprehensive understanding of local geography and tourist attractions.
- Qualifications: A minimum Level 6 QQI Framework qualification in a related discipline.
Desirable:
- Background in the tourism sector and knowledge of foreign languages will be considered a plus.
