Role: Accountant

Salary: 9,000 - 13,000 gross PLN/monthly

Location:Warsaw, Poland

We are currently recruiting for an experienced accountant in the rapidly growing PL branch.

As an accountant, you will be expected to be able to independently and pro-actively maintain full accounting, providing support to your colleagues from different departments and audit.

Responsibilities:

  • Comprehensive accounting services along with preparing financial statements and periodic internal reporting.
  • Posting purchase and revenue invoices, payroll, WNT, WDT and other accounting documents.
  • Calculating CIT and VAT and submitting declarations to the Tax Office.
  • Preparation of depreciation, accruals, prepayments, journals, and any other relevant adjustments.
  • Knowledge of applicable accounting and tax regulations.
  • Meeting set deadlines.
  • Performing account reconciliations.
  • Maintain a full and accurate audit trail by filing and referencing documents.

Skills, knowledge, and experience:
Essential Knowledge, skills and abilities:

  • Bachelors Qualified (finance and accounting, economics).
  • Minimum of 4 years accounting experience.
  • Experience in the preparation of financial statements.
  • Ability to manage personal workload effectively.
  • Ability to enter data accurately and efficiently.
  • Strong work ethic.

Desirable Knowledge, skills and abilities:

  • Strong English and Polish language skills.
  • Confidence and ability to quickly pick up new systems.
  • Knowledge of NetSuite will be a plus.
  • Experience of working in an accountancy practice.
