About the department
The Purchase to Pay department is mainly responsible for all AP related tasks (processing, booking and paying Coloplast's liabilities, creation and updating of vendor master data, vendors invoice verification and handling invoice queries for 35+ entities globally) but also for executing compliant purchase process globally.

About the role

Global Head of Purchase-to-Pay is responsible for Purchase-to-Pay department (~40FTE) located in CPBC, PL, Accounts Payables ledger and Travel & Expense area. They are the global owner of Basware TEM and Concur (travel system) and Alusta (invoices management system). The responsibility includes strategic development of the areas, strategic development of end to end PtP process, management of leaders and individuals, business stakeholders management and business continuity and automation projects related to the area. Global Head of Purchase-to-Pay is responsible for CPBC financial audit in AP area, ISO security audit in AP area and implementation of effective and efficient finance processes.

She/He is the primary contact to Business Support stakeholders, Group Controlling & Reporting and Corporate Procurement. They ensure AP finance processes alignment and books compliance to both IFRS and local standards. Global Head of Purchase-to-Pay is responsible for group reporting and financial year end close of AP for all served entities. She/He represents all AP finance processes in front of internal review and external audit.

The job is located in Szczecin and we expect you to work onsite, with hybrid possibilities.

Responsibilities:
Execute local and global Purchase-to-Pay projects and transitions
Develop the PtP area in line with the company and CPBC strategy and vision of the area
Identify opportunities within AP and PtP area (including automation)
Accountable and responsible for the preparation and management of external and internal financial reporting, AP accounts reconciliations
Recruiting and management of AP leaders
Act as an owner of AP processes globally
Lead/support development of PtP processes and methods
Identify synergies and opportunities between AP and other finance teams
Keep close dialogue with business support group, group reporting and controlling, IT, Procurement, Global Tax & Compliance, Treasury, local organizations
Manage relationships with key stakeholders during projects
Maintain portfolio overview to keep track of resource availability
Acts as an active member of CPBC management, department leadership, and CPBC wider leadership team, proactively providing input and feedback on CPBC performance
Responsible for executing CPBC strategy for their own area

Qualifications:
Strong finance competencies and experience in Finance area
Experienced in Accounts Payable (with success projects delivered) and understanding of Purchase to Pay area
5+ years of experience in leading people, preferably within Finance, AP or Purchase-to-Pay department
Solid business experience from an international global organization working across boarders
Strong experience in efficiency implementation (includes digitalization and automation)
Strategic business understanding
Ability and passion to motivate and manage people
Solid experience with project management and finance transitions
