Description
We are looking to recruit a Manager for our workshop in Papatoetoe who will be responsible for the below mentioned:
- Manage all workshop operations diligently.
- Maintain high standards of business by ensuring that the work is completed by all staff members as per the required standards.
- Ensure that the supplies and other equipment is managed by you independently.
- Plan and coordinate workshop activities, set priorities and maintain workshop standards to ensure that work is completed within the specific timeframe.
- Ensure that workshop space is allocated appropriately to ensure optimum utilization of resources
- Manage and prepare office and workshop records.
- Prepare and manage stock records, financial transactions and accounts
- Recruit new staff, train them and monitor their performance to ensure that expected standards are met.
- Facilitate orientation of new team members and explain correct usage of equipment.
- Ensure all staff adhere to the health & safety requirements and regulations at all times.
- Monitor workflow to anticipate the impact of delays due to the absence of any staff member due to any paricular reason.
- Ensure adequate maintenance of tools, equipment and other materials in the Service Area.
- Regularly review the pricing of stock to ensure continued profitability.
- Coordinate with the sales department and arrange for delivery of vehicles to customers.
- Facilitate the payment to suppliers for stock and, when appropriate negotiate for better terms.
- Periodically organise and participate in stock takes
- Plan, formulate and implement operational budgets
- Act as liaison between staff, the owners, applicable suppliers and other business contacts
- Maintain communication with the management to obtain security information, report unusual concerns and share new ideas that may contribute to improved
You will be required to work for a minimum of 30 hours per week.
Other Requirements:
- Available to work on weekends.
- Relevant experience is highly preferred.

Salary: $26.00 - $31.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
