Tyre Technicians
This is a full-time permanent role. The pay rate is at $29.66 per hour with a minimum 40 hours per week. Usual working hours may be up to 45-50 hours per week over Monday to Sunday and you may be required to work up to 55 hours from time to time.
Successful applicants may be required to work in our locations nationwide in Northland Auckland Waikato Bay of Plenty Gisborne Hawke's Bay Taranaki Manawatu-Whanganui Wellington Nelson Tasman Marlborough West Coast Canterbury Otago Southland.
Job description
Your duties will include performing wheel alignments assessing tyre damage and wear balancing and pressure testing tyres advising customers on tyres changing repairing and fitting tyres and test-driving vehicles to diagnose problems and make sure they have been fixed.
You will be responding to tyre-related damage to client’s vehicles caused in service at a variety of locations so some out-of-town travel may be required.
You will be dealing with customers daily with a focus on building long term relationships.
What are we looking for?
- Experience in the tyre industry - tyre fitting and wheel alignment with commercial fleet maintenance experience a bonus
- A clean full Drivers Licence
- A friendly and positive outlook with a customer service focus
- The ability to work in a busy team environment.
