As a Merchandise Manager -Building Products, you will provide strategic leadership to Category Managers in line with Mitre 10’s merchandising strategy and policies, in order to maximise value for our Members and achieve agreed our business objectives.
Your leadership and people management skills will come to the forefront in inspiring and developing a category management team in the Building Products division.
This is an opportunity that doesn't come around very often at Mitre 10!
What *you’ll *be responsible for;**
- Managing a team of high performing Category Managers to embrace change and continuously improve on our Business objectives and metrics
- Driving and facilitating engagement from the Mitre 10 membership towards the category and associated programs
- Supporting and driving category growth through new initiatives
For this role it is expected the successful person will have at least several years’ relevant experience in Home Improvement industry, bringing the capability to step change the business as we move forward and continue to grow. You will possess proven leadership and people management skills, strong commercial acumen and the ability to lead a team to greater success.
