Marketing Manager

An exciting opportunity has become available for a strategically thinking, Senior Marketing Specialist to come on board and lead a small, but effective marketing and communications team. As the new Marketing Manager, you will have excellent communication and networking skills. You will have confidence in your own ability and be able to hit the ground running to execute the organisations vision, strategy and values.

With the ability to work hybrid, but ideally within the greater Auckland region you will need to work in the office when required to meet with the various stakeholders across the business, working closely with the Senior Leadership Team.

As the Marketing Manager you will lead the development on all marketing plans whilst remaining within budget. You will be at ease identifying new trends in performance as well as new opportunities for growth.

Key Accountabilities

  • Accountable for the development and execution of the B2B marketing strategy, working closely with the leadership team to ensure it is in line with overall growth strategy
  • Working with a small team to create compelling marketing campaigns that engage existing customers and attract new business, optimising the ROI of the marketing budget and utilising technology to enhance the marketing strategy.
  • Accountable for the conference and events calendar - sourcing and delivering new opportunities for conference activities, visibility, and client engagement.
  • Developing high quality and engaging digital and printed thought leadership materials to support the business development function and disseminating across the company's digital channels including their website and newsletter and LinkedIn page
  • Own the internal and external communication plan.
  • Help develop creative briefs and guide creative direction to meet objectives for all advertising and public facing communications, including print, digital, and video assets
  • Conceptualize and execute on multichannel campaigns across the prospect and customer lifecycle, ensuring the alignment of communications and messaging in all channels
  • Manage content and updates for customer and internal touch points, establish budget guidelines, participate in events, document business processes, and provide sales support
  • Gather customer and market insights to inform outreach strategies, increase client conversions, and generate more qualified opportunities
  • Identify effectiveness and impact of current marketing initiatives with tracking and analysis and optimize accordingly.
  • Present ideas and final deliverables to internal and external teams, and communicate with senior leaders about marketing programs, strategies, and budgets
