Aman Enterprise Ltd, Auckland looking for a Cook for our busy takeaway. Your role will be to COOKS prepare, season and cook food for our busy takeway.
Main Duties will involve:
- preparing and cooking food
- seasoning food during cooking
- portioning food, placing it on plates, and adding gravies, sauces and garnishes
- storing food in temperature controlled facilities
- preparing food to meet special dietary requirements
- may plan menus and estimate food requirements
- may train other kitchen staff and apprentices
- examining foodstuffs to ensure quality
- regulating temperatures of ovens, grills and other cooking equipment
- Keep the kitchen clean and tidy
Full Time Role
- 30 to 40 hours per week.
Pay starts from $29.66 per hour
Must be available to work on a seven days a week roster.
Experience in preparing Indian dishes would be advantageous.
