- A tertiary degree in statistics, mathematics, economics, finance, or other related disciplines
- A minimum of 8 years professional experience in statistics, economics or other relevant work areas
- A pro-active approach to work, identifying new initiatives and seeing them through

- Effective coaching and mentoring skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with ability to convey conceptual and technically difficult arguments to technical and non-technical audiences
- The ability to build and maintain effective working relationships
- A sound knowledge of economics, financial regulation and stability issues and an understanding of the Bank's key objectives
- Proven experience and expertise in using a range of analytical languages, such as R, Python, SQL and Power BI
