Supply Chain Administrator

Main Responsibilities:

  • The duties entail general administrative tasks related to the supply chain function, including collecting and verifying order data for the company's US operations and international business units via weekly open order reporting. This involves checking data for inventory, capacity, container forecasts, and buyout reports, and alerting supply chain specialists for necessary actions. Additionally, the role involves providing support for suppliers regarding component order guidelines and logistics processing, as well as assisting in travel preparations for the Easton team's visits to Vietnam. Other tasks assigned by the manager are also part of the responsibilities. _
  • Collect POs from the INTL business unit sent to suppliers into the INTL Open Order Report master file, update suppliers’ feedback into the INTL master file, check data, and alert the Supply Chain Specialist if any PO needs action. Extract weekly INTO OOR and send it out to all planners.
  • Collect US OOR and cross-check supplier feedback, alert the Supply Chain Specialist if any PO needs action.
  • Work with suppliers to ensure the International and USA weekly Open Order reports are accurate and complete, and provide critical update information promptly. Manage the processing and reporting of the weekly Open Order reports.
  • Collect monthly Capacity reports from key suppliers and upload them into a Shared Folder. Alert Supply Chain Specialist if any full capacity status.
  • Support Manager cross-checks and pulls out all needed reports including DI report (weekly), Vessel booking status (weekly), Container forecast (monthly), Buyout (monthly), a timeline of a new project (weekly)
  • Follow up to make sure supplier after having FG forecast from Easton planner will send out component/ink forecast to component/ink suppliers.
  • Providing support for Suppliers for component order guidelines and logistics processing, etc. Support company’s visits by flight/hotel/visa/agenda.
  • Support sample sending or receiving if any.
  • Other tasks assigned by the Manager

Requirements:

  • Experience in Supply Chain planning for an International Consumer Products company including knowledge of one or more of these specific product types will help understand the company business:
  • Writing Instruments (i.e. markers, pens, pencils)

  • Paint/ink production

  • Compounds (i.e. Clay, Dough, Putty)

  • Printed/bound items (i.e. books, paper)

  • Activity sets

  • Toy items

  • Experience in the Supply Chain functions related to CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods) companies.

  • Familiarity with data analysis, capacity planning, constraint management, working warehouse, inventory management, forecasting and driving appropriate supplier response

  • Experience in leading efforts and troubleshooting Supply Chain and order management issues

  • Ability to effectively influence supplier actions and cross-functional team actions.

  • Experience working as an intermediary or directly with CPG manufacturers/suppliers.

  • Ability to negotiate/resolve issues with supplier leadership.

  • Ability to effectively communicate and drive actions on a wide variety of Supply Chain issues.

  • A3/structured problem solving & root cause analysis

  • Lean/Six Sigma familiarity, training, or certification

  • Strong English skills: writing, reading, speaking, listening
  • Independent and high self-management ability Time management, quick action/response
  • Detail attention is a must
  • At least 1 year of Supply Chain or related experience is preferred.
