Project Engineer - Mep Fit-out

Almoayyed Air Conditioning-Doha, Qatar

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the project manager to develop project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Conduct site visits and assessments to understand project requirements and identify potential challenges.
  • Prepare detailed engineering designs and specifications for MEP systems, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and regulations.
  • Coordinate with architects, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure seamless integration of MEP systems into overall project plans.
  • Procure materials and equipment necessary for MEP installations, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget constraints.
  • Manage subcontractors and oversee their work to ensure quality, safety, and adherence to project specifications.
  • Conduct regular inspections and quality assurance checks to monitor project progress and identify any issues or deviations from the plan.
  • Address any project-related issues or conflicts in a timely and effective manner, seeking resolution to maintain project momentum.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, including drawings, reports, and change orders.
  • Communicate regularly with clients and stakeholders to provide updates on project status, address concerns, and ensure satisfaction with project deliverables.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering with UPDA.
  • Proven experience in MEP Fit-out projects, preferably in the commercial or residential construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, as well as relevant codes and regulations.
  • Excellent project management skills, including the ability to develop and manage project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant engineering software.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy in all aspects of work.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • PMP certification or equivalent project management credentials (preferred).
  • Willingness to travel to project sites and work flexible hours as needed.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: QAR5,000.00 - QAR10,000.00 per month
