Job Overview:
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and maintain thermal insulation systems for industrial projects
- Read and interpret blueprints, instructions, and specifications to determine insulation requirements
- Cut, fit, and shape insulation materials to the required size and shape using hand and power tools
- Secure insulation with adhesives, staples, tapes, or mechanical fasteners
- Ensure proper sealing and weatherproofing of insulation materials
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of insulation systems
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times
- Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used
- Collaborate with other team members and contractors to complete projects in a timely and efficient manner
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience as a Thermal Insulator or similar role
- In-depth knowledge of insulation materials, techniques, and safety procedures
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical specifications
- Strong mathematical and measurement skills
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and physical dexterity
- Ability to work in confined spaces and at heights
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
