Waimak Bins is a small waste collection business based in Rangiora. We are looking for an Operations and Administration Manager to coordinate and oversee our organization’s operations. The role is both internal and external facing, managing clients, suppliers, and staff, to ensure that the business is operating optimally, is remaining compliant, and that opportunities for efficiency and growth are taken. Being a small business, we are looking for someone who has an existing understanding of the waste-management business or a similar industry, including the programmes and systems required for the operation of such a business, and the ability and organisational skills to coordinate drivers and runs.

  • Demonstrable experience in operations and management, of at least 3 years
  • A good knowledge of the waste management industry
  • Excellent customer service skills and sales background
  • Ability to manage and coordinate staff and vehicles
  • Knowledge in Xero, Wastedge and Simpro
  • Competency in Microsoft office programmes
  • Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
  • Review and maintain company policies & procedures
  • Class 2 driver’s licence to be able to cover staff shortages
