About the role:
As United Civil Construction’s Sustainability Manager reporting to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for providing leadership, strategic direction and implementing our sustainability strategy, and business objectives. You will not only lead but be hands on in the business to continue our commitment to excellence.
You will be a natural with numbers as operational and client reporting is a key function of this role. As a trusted partner with customers you will lead and demonstrate the value of sustainable business practices, providing expert advice and coaching to enable teams to embed sustainable business practices into how we do things at United Civil.
About you:
- A tertiary qualification in sustainability, management, or related areas
- Passionate about problem solving, a critical thinker with skills to communicate solutions effectively
- Hands-on experience with preparation of sustainability reports
- Flexible in your approach, with a positive “can-do” attitude
- Highly effective written and oral communication skills - ability and experience in a variety of presentation settings with both internal and external stakeholders at all levels
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment, manage your own workload, desire to learn and being a self-starter
