Duty Manager

We are currently partnering with a busy grocery supermarket located in the heart of Cork City Centre, to identify an experienced and dedicated Duty Manager to join their team.

Position Overview:
As a Duty Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the daily operations of our client's bustling grocery convenience store. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the efficient and smooth running of the store while delivering exceptional customer service. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with strong leadership skills and a passion for the retail sector to take their career to the next level.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day store operations, including staff management, inventory control, and customer service.
• Lead and motivate a team of dedicated employees to achieve performance targets and deliver exceptional customer experiences.
• Implement and enforce company policies and procedures to maintain high standards of store presentation, safety, and cleanliness.
• Manage stock levels, replenishment, and merchandising to maximize sales and minimize waste.
• Collaborate with senior management to identify opportunities for improvement and contribute to the overall success of the store.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a similar role within the retail or grocery sector is highly desirable.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
• A passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
