Desktop Support Engineer (L2) - Łódź

Together with our client, a global cross-border IT services company that provides delivery of 24/7 support, and provision of end-to-end solutions, including IT and audio-visual design, installation, and servicing.

Responsibilities:

  • Accurately testing, identifying, repairing, resolving, and documenting end user technical issues regarding basic network/desktop/laptop support, Printers.
  • Break-fix, troubleshoot and resolve software issues; Reimaging computers/hard drives.
  • IMACD function including installation and decommission. Adhere to ticket response and resolution SLAs as agreed upon with the customer.
  • Backing up and restoring user data, settings and associated systems administration activities.
  • Assist ServiceDesk/Remote Desktop Support teams for hands and feet coordination efforts. Assist on Incident and Problem management activities.
  • Taking ownership of issues through to resolution on all appropriate requests. Categorize and prioritize end user support requests (Incidents) and service requests by utilizing ticketing system to track tickets and provide up-to-date status and information.
  • Move equipment associated with escalated help desk incidents and service requests. Performing asset inventory activities as needed. Recommends and/or performs upgrades on systems to ensure longevity.
  • Works with procurement staff to purchase hardware and software. Maintain spare parts/ inventory list on a monthly basis and coordinate for any disposal requisites. Provide trade show planning and support, setup, test, training, logistics and maintenance of all required Workstation and peripheral equipment at the site.

Requirements:

  • CompTIA, Microsoft, or similar local certificates and diplomas.
  • Proven work experience as Desktop Support Engineer or Support Technician (2 years - minimum)
  • Professional experience using various Windows desktop operating systems (must-have)
  • Experience in Providing smart hands support for Network Equipment (must-have)
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills
  • Be a strong personality with good customer service skills.
  • Basic knowledge of Mac operating system, to support Apple pc users.
  • Basic understanding of DHCP, DNS, IP addressing and sub netting & Basic understanding of fixing Wireless LAN, Ethernet desktop configuration issues. Support during Town Halls, Board Meetings, Executive Conferences, Auditorium Meetings.
  • Be available for On-call support during afterhours as and when necessary (it will be paid as extra hours in total conformity to local laws and rules)
  • Good written and verbal communication skills - Polish (native or C1) and English (B2/C1)

We offer:

  • Full-time position on the contract of employment (if you prefer B2B, it is possible, but without sick leaves and paid vacation).
  • Working on-site in Aleksandrów Łódzki (~15-20 km from Łodź).

Wynagrodzenie: 7 000,00zł - 10 000,00zł miesięcznie (brutto)

Harmonogram:

  • 8 godzin dziennie
  • Poniedziałek - Piątek
